Job Description

Space Systems Integration (SSI) is a fastgrowing engineering company that provides aerospace solutions to a variety of government and commercial customers. Our employees are forwardthinking selfdirected individuals who are committed to solving our customers technical challenges.

SSI is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect (TS/SCI) to support our customer in Chantilly VA.

Responsibilities include:

Supports development acquisition and management of the SDAs governmentowned contractoroperated cloud environments.

Develop government reference cloud architectures and cost estimates to support the SDAs Cloud roadmap initiatives.

Anticipate future needs and design scalable architectures.

Serves as the primary cloud subject matter expert for the SDA T3 program and supports the of Ground Segment contracts.

Works with cloud engineers developers and external stakeholders to make certain cloud solutions meet SDAs requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in science technology engineering or math (STEM).
Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud computing including authentication methods and encryption standards.
Knowledge of cloud application frameworks.
Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction.
Selfmotivated quickthinking and strong analytical abilities.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
TS Clearance required. Must be able to obtain/maintain SCI.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in STEM or related discipline.
10 years experience in cloud environments and associated elements.
