As NorCo Rush Soccer Club approaches its 50th anniversary we are searching for a dynamic and passionate Director of Coaching (DOC) to lead. This is more than just a position its an opportunity to ignite passion shape young athletes and shape the future of youth soccer in Northern Colorado.

Qualifications and Experience - National C License and above/NSCAA equivalent (or in process of obtaining a B License within 18months)
- Experience working with children ages 5 and up
- Knowledge of technology based platforms such as video embedding smartphone and social communication applications
- Competent computer skills including the ability to use word processing and spreadsheets
- Strong dispute resolution and problem solving skills that incorporates flexibility as a growing club
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Director of Coaching Role and Responsibilities The DOC will report to the BOD and/or Director of Teams with respect to all matters concerning soccer related activities teams coaches and player development.
- Act as an ambassador for the club and promote the interests of the club at all times.
- Must recruit/develop coaches assistant coaches team managers and/or any club coaching staff.
- Hire/terminate team coaches while integrating coaching curriculum including organizing andimplementing coaching development clinics for all club coaches.
- Will have direct and consistent contact with team coaches regarding game day analysis and feedback player/coach development training program design and delivering model training sessions.
- Will observe and evaluate practice sessions as appropriate and offer guidance and provide yearly written evaluation.
- Provide support and improve player development while being the contact person for any coaching issues including: training player concerns disputes and report to the BOD for any significant issues.
- Be the first point of contact for players and parents in regards to soccer related questions.
- Will recruit and retain youth soccer players. This will be done through development and implementation of both short and long term strategic plans for the club growth outreach and relationships.
- Organize camps and clinics utilizing club coaches focusing on local recreation programs and community organizations.
- Plan and execute progressive age appropriate training sessions in keeping with club philosophy and expectations.
- Create a positive club culture with the intention of developing players and coaches to become productive and positive members of society in accordance with the Rush Way (publishing/editing a document which explains club expectations) and work with BOD and Director of Membership on monthly updates via media outlets to membership.
- Act as the club liaison in any matters that may affect the club including representing the club at any functions meetings events as directed by the BOD and/or Director of Teams (Rush/CSA meeting/events).
- Coordinate tryouts according to relevant laws and rules including CSA and club rules and bylaws. Provide a comprehensive structure (league alignment) to the Director of Teams. This is to include team coaching staff selection and announcement.
- Advise/review team tournament selections with the Director of Tournaments to ensure proper team placement. Help encourage tournament participation to our club teams.
- Conduct quarterly coaches meetings.
- Provide all services as necessary and directed by the BOD.
Compensation This is a fulltime office/field position 40 hours/week) based in Greeley Colorado with an annual salary of $35000 to $60000 plus incentives.
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a comprehensive background check. Candidates must also reside or be willing to relocate within approximately a 30mile radius of Greeley Colorado.
