Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist Hand Therapist
Location: 68 Consumer Center Drive Chillicothe OH 45601
Schedule: PartTime Flexible Schedule
Compensation: Hourly commensurate with experience
NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Parttime Hand TherapistOcuupational Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center located in Chillicothe OH. A certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred but we are willing to consider occupational therapists with 1 year of experience working with hand patients. We can mentor an occupational therapist aspiring to be a certified hand therapist. We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation plan of care treatment reevaluation discharge and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
- Develop treatment plans supervise assistants and aides contribute to case management and provide quality patient care.
- Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
- Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB clinician expertise patient perception).
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required
- Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and postop orthopedics is required
- CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Valid drivers license
