Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Orthodontic Therapist to join a team either fulltime or parttime and support the delivery of highquality orthodontic treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Carry out clinical orthodontic procedures prescribed by the orthodontist including:
-
Taking impressions photographs and radiographs
-
Fitting adjusting and removing orthodontic appliances (e.g. braces retainers)
-
Monitoring treatment progress and making necessary adjustments
-
Educating patients on appliance care and oral hygiene
-

Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
-
Support the orthodontist during more complex procedures
-
Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
-
Provide a high standard of patient care ensuring patients feel informed reassured and respected

Contribute to a positive and professional working environment within the team
Requirements:
-
Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Therapist
-
Experience in a clinical dental or orthodontic setting
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Staying updated with developments in orthodontics
