Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Orthodontic Therapist to join a team either fulltime or parttime and support the delivery of highquality orthodontic treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out clinical orthodontic procedures prescribed by the orthodontist including:

    • Taking impressions photographs and radiographs

    • Fitting adjusting and removing orthodontic appliances (e.g. braces retainers)

    • Monitoring treatment progress and making necessary adjustments

    • Educating patients on appliance care and oral hygiene

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records

  • Support the orthodontist during more complex procedures

  • Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures

  • Provide a high standard of patient care ensuring patients feel informed reassured and respected

  • Contribute to a positive and professional working environment within the team

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Therapist

  • Experience in a clinical dental or orthodontic setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Staying updated with developments in orthodontics
