Job Description
About the Role:
Join our compassionate and dedicated team as a Radiation Therapist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional cancer care. We seek a skilled and safetyconscious professional passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence in radiation therapy.
As a Radiation Therapist you will work closely with radiation oncologists dosimetrists and nurses to ensure precise and safe treatment delivery to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist

Operate linear accelerators and other ionizing radiation equipment safely and effectively

Monitor patient conditions and responses to treatment

Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records

Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols

Educate and support patients throughout their treatment journey
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
-
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
-
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Mexico
-
CPR certification (current)
-
35 years of experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting preferred

Strong knowledge of radiation equipment operations and safety procedures

Able to handle radiation sources with precision and caution
