Job Title: Dover Grease Journeyman Plumber with Backflow Certification
Job Description:
Dover Grease is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber with Backflow Certification to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our company you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation maintenance and repair of plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Repair: Perform installation maintenance and repair tasks for plumbing systems including pipes fixtures fittings and appliances.
- Backflow Prevention: Utilize expertise in backflow prevention techniques and equipment to safeguard potable water supplies from contamination.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes regulations and safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed including materials used labor hours and customer interactions.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members including apprentices and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Plumber License: A valid journeyman plumber license is required.
- Backflow Certification: Backflow certification is essential. However if you possess a journeymans license but lack backflow certification we are willing to sponsor your enrollment in a backflow certification class.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a journeyman plumber with a demonstrated track record of excellence in plumbing installations repairs and maintenance.
- Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of plumbing systems fixtures and tools. Familiarity with backflow prevention techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Physical Stamina: Good physical condition as the role may involve lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
