Successful candidates will teach online courses under the direction of the Program coordinator evaluate student work and assist students with mastery of course and Program objectives. The Special Education (Applied Behavior Analysis) program welcomes applications from candidates who align with ASUs charter and are committed to inclusive excellence and student success. The successful candidate will also advance ASUs Design Aspirations through teaching and service.

Faculty Associate positions are one semester 7.5 or 15 weeks) nonbenefitseligible and fixedterm appointments with no tenure implications not to exceed .40 FTE. The number of courses is contingent upon needs funding and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple nonbenefitseligible appointments at Arizona State University. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load.
This recruitment is to establish a parttime hiring pool for temporary and semester appointments. Applications are considered for the current year only. Applicants who are not hired are encouraged to reapply for the next posting.
This position serves as a lead instructor and includes online teaching providing leadership and guidance to assigned course coinstructors (academic associates) reviewing student assignments providing constructive feedback grading meeting synchronously (via Zoom) with students individually or in small groups as needed responding to student inquiries (within 24 hours 7 days a week) remaining in ongoing communication with program coordinator and instructional team throughout the course and maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
