Job Description
As a member of our culinary Staff this is your opportunity to work at one of the most iconic golf clubs in the country!
Functioning as an experienced cook you will be responsible for performing the full range of the most difficult cooking tasks. In addition to cooking our simple elegant dishes you may be asked to prepare sauces and soups. Working with our established menu items and recipes you may be asked to create a daily/nightly special for the restaurant. To add just a bit of fun to your schedule you may also be asked to assist in banquet food preparations. Our season is typically May through October.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous casual fine dining cooking experience
- Sauce preparation experience
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work long hours and varied shifts
- Knowledgeable about and able to work on a kitchen line
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Knife handling skills
- Grill griddle and saut skills
- Good sense of timing
- Strong work ethic
