Position Overview
Our Vancouver BC location is interested in hearing fromSenior VFX Producersfor future openings.
The VFX Producer reports to the Heads of Production. This position requires both high level client and internal team management skills for both Film and TV.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall financial and profitable wellbeing of the project
- Detailed bidding process pulling reference from scripts storyboards and meetings
- Attention to daily individual artist assignments
- Organizing and publishing delivery calendars based on approved methodology breakdown
- Track and update progress of VFX shots in Shotgrid
- Communicate daily with clients editorial and inhouse management
- Push shots through our pipeline from workinprogress to final on a weekly basis
- Complete work within the timeframe allotted and onbudget
- Actualize budgets and project hours and dollars out to completion
- Work quickly and efficiently within established pipeline
- Must take direction well and adapt to changes
Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience working for a VFX vendor
- Experience managing 3D and 2D artists in production
- Must have knowledge and experience budgeting VFX breaking down scripts and boards
- Some nights weekends and travel required
- Ability to work within a structured team environment
- Problem solving skills selfstarter adapt to production changes motivate artists and teams
- Knowledge of Word Excel a must
- Onset experience a plus
- Experience with Shotgun a major plus
- Experience producing VFX for television clients a major plus
Additional information
British Columbia Employees Pay Range: $140K $150K (The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position)
Candidates MUST be located in British Columbia.At the moment this is a remote (work from home) position with the option of working within our studio.
Zoic does not cover relocation costs.
All remote positions require the candidate to have a reliable internet connection via ethernet and work on Pacific Standard Time.
