The Communications Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing our organizations visibility and strengthening our communication efforts across various platforms. As a vital member of the communications team you will be responsible for developing implementing and monitoring communication strategies that support our mission and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance organizational visibility.
- Create and manage content for social media platforms ensuring alignment with brand voice.
- Write and distribute press releases newsletters and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and produce compelling content.
- Monitor media coverage and track communication metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
- Assist in organizing events and campaigns that showcase the organizations mission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing or related field.
- Proven experience in a communications role preferably in a nonprofit or similar environment.
- Exceptional writing editing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
