Manufacturing System Technician First Shift (Contract Role)*** PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ONSITE CONTRACT POSITION BASED OUT OF OUR FREMONT CA LOCATION ***
WHAT YOULL DO:
Perform manufacturing operations related to the production of parts components subassemblies and final system assemblies.
Work with engineers in setup and calibration tasks.
Perform testing and troubleshooting related to the manufacturing process.
Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustments to products instruments or equipment.
Determine or assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints drawings and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Assist engineers in conducting experiments.
Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
Provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel and may lead or supervise activities within a team lead function.
Follow established procedures processes or policies.
Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
WHAT YOULL BRING:
Associates Degree in a related field OR equivalent work experience. Bachelors degree preferred.
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and diagrams.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Proficienct in using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
Ability to follow established procedures processes or policies.
