You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Rochester is seeking an Assistant Professor in the Center for Health Technology (CHeT). The Assistant Professor will also have an appointment in the Department of Neurology.
CHeT is a research organization that designs and conducts multicenter clinical research studies and trials. The mission of CHeT is to accelerate research by enabling anyone anywhere to receive care and participate in research leading to advances that improve the health of millions of individuals.
This position will be responsible for supporting the strategic mission and pillars of CHeT refining business operations and working closely with the Director of CHeT and each of CHeTs units (CTCC CMSU Outcomes Innovations Analytics and Health) to meet CHeT objectives. They will support efficient and effective operations across the organization and will be a key member of the Senior Leadership team of CHeT.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can also lead and oversee research projects and clinical trials in CHeT bringing innovative strategies ideas and processes. They will have experience researching drafting and submitting proposals to the NIH DoD various foundations biopharmaceutical companies and other funding sources for research. The ideal candidate will have national and international network and connections.
The position will also be responsible for teaching within CHeT and across the University of Rochester. Candidates should have a history of leading successful proposals and grants and a solid understanding of clinical research healthcare technology and innovation. A Doctoral degree and at least 15 years of combined experience in research strategy and operations is strongly desired.
