The Mayors Summer Jobs Program is a career readiness opportunity for Somerville youth that encourages career exploration workplace and interpersonal skill development and connection with community and peers.
There are several workplace opportunities available in the Parks and Recreation Department Somerville Public Schools within the private sector and throughout all our City government departments. Schedules vary based on placement but all youth who are hired can expect to work a maximum of 20 hours per week for approximately six weeks. Starting July 7th and ending August 15th.
