Triple A Program Coordinator Triple A Program Coordinator

Reports to: Triple A Manager

This person will become a member of the Triple A - After School Enrichment team providing support to the Triple A Manager in a variety of duties to ensure the program runs smoothly on a broad view and day-to-day basis.

Duties and/or Responsibilities may include:
  • Support Triple A operations to achieve the mission and vision of the organization
  • Work with Triple A Manager to communicate updates regularly with Triple A staff
  • Communicate with parents/guardians
  • Initiate follow-through on projects to ensure completion as expected and on time
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements in current processes
  • Work cross-functionally within the department and school as needed
  • Analyze and/or create supporting documents for training and enrichment
  • Hold conversations plan activities and maintain an environment that reflects inclusion and equity
  • Create performance assessments
  • Observe and document group leader and support staff performance
  • Share assessment results with applicable Triple A staff
  • Create and facilitate clear positive and educational presentations
  • Respond to and manage escalated student behaviors following our programs discipline plan
  • Work as group leader front desk lead or support staff as needed
  • Create/coordinate enrichment curriculum special events and daily plans based on the PYP Transdisciplinary Themes and IB Traits
  • Manage the storage and materials
  • Take primary responsibility of purchasing materials and supplies for enrichment activities
  • Assist in creating group rosters prioritizing diversity in regards to gender race ability type and health needs
  • Oversee the Triple A - After School Enrichment email address and respond to all emails
  • Manage the overall Triple A operations in the absence of the Triple A Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Proficient in using Apple hardware MS Office for Mac and Google Platform
  • Demonstrate organizational time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a passion for creating and maintaining a culture of equity and inclusion
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new systems and retain information quickly
  • Professionalism
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of professional experience in child development
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Working Parameters and Conditions / Physical Requirements:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires focus and the ability to multitask. The job is approximately 40 weeks out of the year and follows closely to the 10-month school calendar with traditional school holidays and breaks. It begins in approximately late July and ends around the first week of June (on an annual basis). Hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. This includes a 30 minute lunch break.
