Up to $5000 Signon Bonus
Shift: FullTime 40 hrs. MF Days evenings (depending on availability)

The University of Miami UHealth at SoL Mia opening September 2025 will bring highquality academic medicine to North Miami Aventura and surrounding communities.
Our expert team of physicians and staff will represent a wide range of specialties including NCIdesignated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute the number one eye hospital in the nation. UHealth at SoL Mia will also deliver the latest in urologic treatments from the renowned Desai Sethi Urology Institute as well as topnotch care from UHealths nationally ranked neurology and neurosurgery programs.
The University of Miami UHealth CTU at SoL Mia has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Provides for patients personal hygiene by giving bedpans urinals baths backrubs shampoos and shaves and assisting with showers.
2. Assists with meals and feeds patients ambulates turns and positions patients and provides fresh water and nourishment between meals.
3. Administers enemas s nonsterile dressings surgical preps ice packs heat treatments therapeutic and sitz baths and applies restraints.
4. Performs sugar and acetone urine testing specimen collection and postmortem care.
5. Answers patients call lights and requests promptly.
6. Maintains a safe and attractive environment for patients and staff and transports patients and equipment.
7. Reports patient conditions to the assigned nurse to ensure professional assessment.
8. Measures and records food and liquid intake and output and checks and records vital signs.
9. Provides patients with help with walking exercising and moving in and out of bed.
10. Adheres to University and unitlevel policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification and Licensing:
Certification in relevant specialty or field
Experience:
01 year of relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary.

Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
