Job Description
Holy Family Parish and School have an immediate opening for a Technology Support position. The majority of the time this would be for the school with some hours at the parish. It is a part time hourly role. Hours worked per week are based on the needs of the school and parish.
Maintain and Upgrade Hardware (parish school and cafeteria)
- Research and recommend updated devices for purchase (parish and school)
- Hardware currently includes laptops Chromebooks iPads projectors and screens interactive flat panels document cameras
- Troubleshoot and maintain current devices
- Troubleshoot and maintain network copiers/printers/fax/scanner
- Troubleshoot and maintain audio/visual equipment for parish and school
- Troubleshoot and maintain security cameras issues and reach out to the installer with problems
- Troubleshoot and maintain the VOIP phone system bell and intercom systems
- Online streaming of Mass for weekend Mass and parish events
Maintain and Upgrade Software
- Microsoft Office (online and installed version)
- Email (gmail)
Maintain and Troubleshoot Network Infrastructure
- Maintain wireless access points and switches (school/church) and troubleshoot issues
- Go Daddy to maintain domain registration 2 accounts)
- Filters/blockers on network
Develop a long range technology plan
- Work with pastor principal and other committee members to establish a 1 year 3 year 5 year and 10 year technology plan for the parish and school and develop a list of hardware software infrastructure with purchasing information and a timeline for replacement/upgrade information.
