Transportation Design Engineer
Urban Transportation Design Planning & Construction
Salary: $90$130K based on experience

Transportation Design Engineer
Urban Transportation Design Planning & Construction
Salary: $90$130K based on experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering P.Eng
- 46 years of relevant industry experience
- Roadway Design & Construction experience including geometrics alignments utilities staging roadside safety quantity calculations contract documents and constructability.
- Prepare drawings and designs contract documents engineering specifications and cost estimates for municipal roadway transit facilities and active transportation projects.
- Provide technical guidance for junior staff
- Coordinate construction activities QA/QC testing and reporting construction layout quantity tracking contractor management regulatory compliance and asbuilt information.
- Rural Transportation experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Civil3D and AutoCAD
- Excellent analytical and technical capability as well as interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational ability in order to manage multiple public and private projects
- Have a continual learning attitude staying up to date with industry research and developments
