About us
Job Purpose
To maximize asset life and drive efficiency of the electricity transmission assets managing the electrical asset life cycle including: replacement strategies technical authority on all in service transmission system assets shaping and interpreting policy.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor asset condition and performance providing technical advice and guidance on the continued service of assets.
- Provide asset strategies including maintenance refurbishment and replacement.
- Provide a consolidated view of asset condition.
- Manage technical issues including asset risk management in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Provide safe access to the system and commission new assets onto the system safely.
- Lead an efficient workforce ensuring the team are fully competent and trained to effectively deliver against the plan.
Supervisory/Interpersonal Experience Required
- Effective people management and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates degree level or equivalent or relevant experience
