Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday day shift (onsite)
Reports to: Operations Director
Salary: Up to 55000

A leading thirdparty logistics (3PL) provider is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to join their Heathrow HQ team. This newly created role will be pivotal in documenting and refining operational processes enhancing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and driving efficiency across multiple sites. You will work closely with the Operations Director Project Team and wider business to optimise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) manage rollouts and spearhead process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimisation & Documentation Establish maintain and continuously improve all operational processes and client SOPs ensuring efficiency compliance and scalability
- WMS Rollout & System Enhancements Oversee the successful rollout of their inhouse WMS working with project teams to ensure a smooth transition and identify system improvement opportunities
- Continuous Improvement (CI) & KPI Management Lead CI initiatives to improve productivity quality and costeffectiveness while developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- CrossSite Communication & Collaboration Work in sync with multiple locations liaising with warehouse production and project teams to ensure seamless operations
- Staff Training & Development Support training programmes to upskill teams ensuring operational consistency and best practices across the business
- Client & Internal Stakeholder Engagement Act as a key contact for operational escalations working closely with Account Management to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Health & Safety & Security Leadership Uphold and enhance Health & Safety and Security policies to maintain safe and compliant operations
Person Specification
- Proven experience in a Warehouse or Operations Manager role within a 3PL logistics or fulfilment environment
- Strong leadership process improvement and WMS implementation expertise
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to track performance and develop actionable KPIs
- Strong communicator able to influence engage and collaborate across teams
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with handson operational problemsolving
- A proactive solutionsdriven mindset with a passion for driving efficiencies
Hours of Work Pay and Benefits
