As an Oncology Specialty Development Sales Executive you are responsible for effectively communicating and selling the benefits of Labcorp Oncology and Laboratory Corporation of America (LCA) commercial productsto HospitalPathologistsOncologistsHematologistsand regional reference laboratories in a territory that covers Burbank/Lancaster/Palmdale.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth in assigned territory
- Successfully build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updates
- Cold call and build a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievement
- Accurately forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new opportunities inline with a 90day quota
- Effectively manage travel logistics to maximize sales productivity
- Attend local and national professional trade shows and events as requested
- Learn and sell Integrated Oncology focused products and services
- Effectively communicate value propositions to all targeted customers and prospects
- Perform inservices training and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staff
- Collaborate and actively contribute to new business opportunities with LCA counterparts
- Update all relevant customer account information into CRM Data Management Systems
- Provide ongoing customer support education on focus products and market updates for current customer base.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in the life sciences
- A Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience within the healthcare or clinical laboratory/medical device industry
- Proven success managing a book of business
- Strong persuasiveness as well as influencing and closing skills
- Ability to understand complex scientific literature and use clinical data as a selling factor
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Power Point & Excel
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Position requires some overnight travel for client visits sales events and trade shows up to 25
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in geneticsor oncology
- Existing relationships within one or multiple areas of: Breast Surgeons Genetic Counselors and Oncology Clinics
Application Window: April 11 2025
Pay Range: $110000 $120000 annually
The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics underthe plan.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical Dental Vision Life STD/LTD 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
