The Role
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Workforce & Operations Planner to join the Programmed Energy & Resources team based in Welshpool.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in our fast paced and dynamic industry. Working with a close knit team this role will enable you to further develop your skills withinthe Mining & Resources industry sectors with exposure to multiples sites and disciplines.
The main responsibilities of this roles are:
- Coordinate workforce planning scheduling and administration to support workforce
- Maintain compliance with workplace health safety and fatigue management requirements.
- Communicate daily with field employees to ensure seamless workforce coordination
- Manage PO commitments & cost accruals
- Maintain all cost commitments including review of internal and thirdparty costs
- Setting up and maintaining cost budgets for cost estimates
- Cost and revenue forecasting and management
- Managing CRM compliance and payroll compliance
- Forecasting workforce requirements and maintaining internal scheduling systems.
- Ensure rosters and internal databases remain accurate and up to date
- Provide timely and professional support to internal teams and clients including availability forecasts.
- Assisting within mobilisation space when needed
Skills and experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience required).
- Previous experience in workforce planning mining or labour hire is highly regarded.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fastpaced environment.
- A positive cando attitude with a strong work ethic.
- A proactive approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated passionate and have good initiative
- Strong communication skills with an ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
