Apparel Product Designer NIKE Inc. Beaverton OR. Partner with the Graphic Design Color Design Development and Product Management teams and bring to life the seasonal creative direction through Special Projects Apparel Design and innovations; lead the design product processes to ensure design deliverables and timelines are met; collaborate with Design Leadership and team members in Design Graphics Development and Merchandising to meet price points merchandising needs and product creation timelines; oversee concept explorations and provide prototype sampling information including fabrication trim color graphic applications style detail fit requirements and construction detail; monitor the development of prototype samples and interact with our Development Pattern Making Material and the Sample Room to exchange ideas and ensure timely completion of each project; maintain and expand upon expert knowledge of current trends color and consumerrelated products through market travel and research; provide mentorship and leadership to other designers and team members by sharing knowledge experience skills and best practices with others; drive the category creative direction through apparel design and innovations that are trend relevant to the consumer; and concept and create seasonal collections and work with manufacturers while working directly with athletes and collaborators to achieve high quality products. Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Fashion Design Product Design or Textile Design and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a designrelated occupation.
