Hiring Requirements:
As the Marketing Innovation Manager you will lead the development and of breakthrough and disruptive innovation initiatives based on consumer and market insights within the Sweet Baked Goods category. This role involves managing the endtoend innovation process including strategic platform ideation collaboration with product development and external manufacturing teams financial oversight of P&Ls and close partnership with brand teams on strategy and communication plans. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial passionate about food customer and consumerobsessed and wellversed in the Canadian grocery industry. Strong relationshipbuilding skills strategic thinking problemsolving abilities analytical expertise persuasive communication and exceptional project management are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a robust 3to5year disruptive new product innovation strategy focusing on new consumption occasions and platforms.
  • Drive the ideation and identification of innovations by leveraging key insights trends consumer behaviors capabilities and category dynamics.
  • Provide thought leadership on business industry and consumer trends to identify key opportunities and potential risks for the companys brands and categories.
  • Manage the innovation budget for all related projects ensuring effective allocation and oversight.
  • Lead crossfunctional project teams working closely with insights brand marketing production supply chain finance purchasing and channel strategy teams.
  • Support brand teams in developing consumer and customer strategies related to new product launches including packaging design and customer storytelling.
  • This position may require occasional travel (less than 5.
Experience & Education:
  • 5 years of progressive experience in Marketing or Brand Management within the CPG industry with a focus on innovation pipeline development.
  • Proven track record in developing and launching successful breakthrough and disruptive innovations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously from concept to .
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Solid business acumen with handson experience in P&L management and budgeting processes.
  • Teamoriented mindset capable of thriving in highperformance and collaborative environments.
  • High level of perseverance and dedication to achieving project milestones with excellence.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to operate effectively in a fastpaced environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation abilities and the capacity to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability to shifting market dynamics and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
