Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement engaging and effective learning materials for engineering audiences including eLearning modules video scripts and storyboards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) from various engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical civil software) to gather content and ensure technical accuracy.
- Create learnercentric instructional content that addresses diverse learning preferences focusing on realworld applications and problemsolving within engineering contexts.
- Use industrystandard instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE SAM) to structure content for optimal learner engagement and retention.
- Design and implement interactive simulations technical demonstrations and case studies that mirror realworld engineering challenges.
- Stay uptodate on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in instructional design and engineering education.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in instructional design with at least 2 years working specifically with engineering content.
- Proven ability to create learning materials for technical audiences with a solid understanding of engineering principles and terminology.
- Strong proficiency in instructional design software (e.g. Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate Camtasia etc. and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience with multimedia production including the development of graphics animations and interactive elements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts engineering teams and stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into digestible learning experiences.
- Excellent communication writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and how to apply them to engineering training.
- Experience with engineering tools and software (e.g. AutoCAD MATLAB SolidWorks etc. is a plus.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with new trends in learning technology and engineering education.
