Raytheon is seeking a motivated 1st shift Senior Level Engineer to fill key Maintenance Repair and Engineering support role within the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department located in Andover MA. This position will support production maintenance needs as well as support the dimensional metrology laboratory. Candidate must be able to effectively operate in a high tempo operations environment and capable of multitasking and prioritizing complex activities often with actions requiring coordination across multiple support areas.
What You Will Do
Coach and influence lowerlevel professional peers and technicians regarding troubleshooting best practices and procedures.
Design of moderate to significant improvements of systems and test equipment to enhance performance of work area and improve Production up time.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
2 years of reading and understanding schematic drawings for complex test equipment designs.
2 years experience with test equipment including network analyzer spectrum analyzer oscilloscope power supplies or similar.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong familiarity with electronics; RF Digital or High Power as well as physical and mechanical aspects of interfacing applications.
Experience developing editing and improvingpreventative maintenance and calibration procedures using intuitivetechniques and methodologies
Able to balance multiple assignments simultaneously
Experience with Six Sigma and LEAN 6S principles or similar continuous improvement methodologies
