Nursery Third in Charge
Salary: 32000

Our client a wellestablished and welcoming nursery is seeking a passionate and experienced Third in Charge to join their leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early years professional to take on a key role in supporting the nurserys daily operations ensuring high standards of care and education and fostering a positive inclusive environment for children families and staff.

With spacious playrooms and dedicated outdoor areas the nursery provides a fun engaging and nurturing space where children can learn explore and grow.

As a Third in Charge you successful will support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager ensuring the smooth running of the nursery. You will lead by example inspiring staff maintaining highquality teaching and care and building strong relationships with children and families.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent) essential.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • Leadership experience within an early years setting with the ability to support and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering a positive nursery culture.
  • A proactive solutionfocused approach to maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the leadership team in maintaining high standards of care education health and safety.
  • Supervise and mentor staff ensuring a positive and effective team environment.
  • Assist with staff training and development identifying individual training needs.
  • Oversee keycarer procedures ensuring children receive tailored support.
  • Help coordinate planning meetings ensuring engaging learning experiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents and carers offering professional feedback.
  • Step in for senior management when required ensuring seamless nursery operations.
