Job Description
Position: Home Visitor Aide 0.34 FTE/10 hours per week 9 months per year)
5 Positions Available
HomeBased Early Childhood Education Program
Duties:
- Work with families with young children 1 3 . Be responsible for implementing an Early Childhood curriculum that helps families prepare their children for school.
- Provide regular Home Visits to each assigned family using appropriate educational materials and resources.
- Organize and carry out group activities with the assigned families.
- Participate in inservice training and weekly staff meetings.
- Carry out assessments evaluations school contacts weekly recordkeeping and duties as may be determined by the Programs.
Your Skill Set:
- Have an interest experience and/or education in working with young children and their families.
- Relate well to young children parents and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
- Have the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Be willing to learn and use Program materials and methods.
- Be flexible dependable have the use of a telephone and ability to get around the city.
- A high school diploma is required.
Salary:
In Accordance with the Less than Six Hour Aide Salary Schedule.
