Forage is a missiondriven payments company that is helping merchants accept government benefits through a single unified API. Today over 42 million Americans receive government assistance (ex: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP) to buy groceries.

Starting with enabling EBT SNAP online Forage builds the financial infrastructure empowering merchants of all shapes and sizes to serve these shoppers online.

We function as a hybrid organization actively hiring across North America. While we embrace remote work due to the nature of this role we are seeking a candidate who will be based in San Francisco and can contribute from our HQ 23 days a week.

What we are looking for:

Were seeking a dynamic and versatile team member with 3 years of experience in technical recruiting and the ability to cultivate culture and manage offices. You thrive on finding and engaging toptier talent but youre also excited to wear multiple hats in a growing companycontributing meaningfully to People Operations and Office Management as part of a closeknit team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience hiring for fintech payments or SaaS companies.
  • Previous experience as an inhouse recruiter at a fastgrowing startup.
  • Familiarity with technical roles coding languages and engineering workflows.

You should have:

  • Strong ability to source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn GitHub technical communities and other channels.
  • A datadriven mindset with experience using ATS platforms (e.g. Greenhouse Lever Ashby).
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and hiring processes simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindsetcomfortable working in a fastpaced evolving environment.
  • Passion for startups technology and building highperformance teams.
  • A collaborative solutionoriented attitude with a willingness to dive into People Ops and daytoday office needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition 70

  • Own the endtoend recruitment process for technical roles including sourcing screening coordinating interviews and closing candidates.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top engineering talent.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to deeply understand hiring needs.
  • Build and nurture strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a seamless and highquality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance our startups presence in the tech community.
  • Implement and optimize recruiting processes and tools as we scale.
  • Stay up to date with market trends compensation benchmarks and best practices in tech hiring.

People Operations 15

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring a smooth experience for new and departing team members.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives teambuilding events and internal communications.
  • Maintain employee records and help implement lightweight HR systems and documentation.
  • Collaborate on culturebuilding and diversity & inclusion efforts.

Office & Admin 15

  • Oversee basic office operations supplies and facilities needs (for hybrid/inperson teams).
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and manage office logistics (e.g. mail deliveries snacks equipment).
  • Help organize inoffice or offsite events and team gatherings.
  • Serve as a friendly point of contact for daytoday employee needs.

Our Offer:

Your base salary would fall within the bands below. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.

Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco California. Individual pay is determined by work location jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
