Job Description
Bowdon Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and organized Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant multidoctor veterinary practice. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a compassionate and efficient environment for our team our clients andmost importantlythe pets we serve.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily hospital operations ensuring efficiency excellent client service and a positive team culture
Partner with veterinarians and team leads to manage schedules workflows and staffing needs
Monitor and analyze KPIs including revenue client satisfaction and staff productivity
Manage inventory ordering vendor relationships and cost control
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and veterinary regulations
Support HR functions: recruiting onboarding training performance management and employee engagement
Lead regular team meetings and foster clear communication across the hospital
Collaborate on marketing and community outreach efforts
Utilize practice management software (e.g. Cornerstone AVImark or similar) to track operations and reporting
Qualifications
2 years of veterinary management or equivalent leadership experience in a medical/clinical setting
Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
Proficiency in practice management systems and basic accounting/reporting
Excellent communication problemsolving and organizational skills
Passion for veterinary medicine and supporting a healthy happy clinic culture
CVPM certification a plus (not required)
