Job Description

We are currently recruiting for professional security officers to work at a high profile RCMP site in Chilliwack. Fulltime staff are required to work 4 on 4 off daysafternoon and graveyard shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the security industry and eager to gain experience working directly with the RCMP.
Payrate: $22.45/hr

Youre a good fit if
- Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public/working with law enforcement
- Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and equipment such as faxes and photocopiers
- Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
- Strong multitasking prioritizing and organizational skills
- Physically fit and assertive including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols
- Fluent English written verbal and reading skills
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Performing exterior patrols
- Maintaining official visitor logs count sheets signin/out sheets
- Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations
- Provide first aid in a prompt accessible and appropriate manner
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of site duties and safety standards
Your Must Haves
- Valid BC Security Licence
- Lived in Canada for minimum 5 years for clearance purposesand be a Canadian Citizen or have a valid PR
- OFA 1 or willing to obtain
- Class 5 Drivers Licence
