Job Description
Job Title: Substitute Teacher
Reports to: Principal
Position: This is a nonexempt / hourly position (on call)
Job Function
Works to meet the unique needs of each child and colabors with the teachers team members and principal to nurture train and cultivate each student in his/her care. Helps the student in the classroom halls restrooms and during break and lunchtimes. Interacts with the educational team students and parents to meet the needs of each student.

The noise level in this work environment is moderate however the noise level may increase during periods of high student traffic.
Terms of Employment
This is an hourly position. The hourly rate and benefits shall be paid consistent with PA and OH pay rates and benefits policies. Length of work year and hours of employment shall be those established by OH and in alignment with the PA academic year.

FLSA Overtime Category
Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Evaluation
The performance will be evaluated in accordance with OH policy and per the PA evaluation model.
