Overview
TheAssistant Directoraids the Program Director in overseeing day to day program operations to support the delivery of high quality accessible and responsive services to clients. TheAssistant Directormay be assigned direct responsibility for particular program elements initiatives or program teams. TheAssistant Directorprovides leadership and professional development to program staff provides direct support for work with clients and families and engages effectively with external partners to support client care.This position offers a $5000 sign on bonus!
About Senecas Crisis Programs (CSU/COMPASS)
Senecas Monterey County Crisis Programs provide crisis stabilization services and shortterm residential treatment for children and youth experiencing crises ensuring timely support when its most needed. This innovative way of addressing a mental health emergency provides a safe supportive and welcoming environment for children and youth. Upon enrollment in the programs the Seneca teams work with the youth and support networks to assess the needs and strengths of the youth in order to develop the foundation goals that will drive treatment. Comprehensive services include timely mental health assessments crisis counseling and linkage to longterm sustainable support based on each clients unique strengths and needs. The ultimate goal is to provide mental health/crisis services suicide prevention decrease in placement changes and reduction of unnecessary psychiatric hospitalization.

Responsibilities
- Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assist the director in overseeing the overall quality and operations of the program.
- Responsible for oversight of particular program content areas or program improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Provide leadership in the delivery of highquality client care grounded in Senecas values guided by the principles of Unconditional Care and in adherence to relevant governing standards.
- Perform personnel functions for all staff including overseeing hiring professional development evaluation and termination.
- Provide direct supervision of program managers direct care for administrative support staff as assigned.
- Provide leadership to the program staff team cultivating a program culture that supports safety engagement collaboration and ongoing learning.
- Cultivate effective partnerships with applicable county offices school districts law enforcement agencies emergency services and other community providers and facilitate effective training for partners as requested.
- Support the director in management of applicable program facilities to ensure safety and a warm and welcoming environment of care.
- Provide oversight of the program budget related to assigned areas and take action to ensure financial sustainability.
- Engage in databased program assessment activities to evaluate effectiveness and guide improvement.
Qualifications
- Masters level of education in social work marriage and family therapy counseling.
- Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- TB test clearance fingerprinting clearance and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
- Valid drivers license clean driving record and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies insurance policy.
- Proof of uptodate COVID19 vaccination or an HRapproved medical/religious exemption.

- Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
