Job Description

The Hangout is looking for a hardworking individual who has a passion for the entertainment field and skilled in the technical elements of entertainment. They will also be responsible for assisting in setup and strike for a variety of special events at the Hangout in the offseason.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating set and prop pieces needed for the show and additional events
- Assist setting up for the summer morning show and other various events
- Manage upkeep of musician green room and entertainment office
- May occasionally run audio and light equipment for nighttime sets for the Master of Ceremonies
- Work with the maintenance team on the offseason
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic theatrical audio and lighting knowledge
- Audio mixing knowledge preferred
- Construction/shop/electrical experience preferred
- Great communication skills and ability to read and adapt to the crowd
- Ability to take direction and initiative well
- Quick on your feet
- Ability to lift at least twentyfive pounds
