Job Description
Come join our vibrant and welcoming Starbucks team! We are seeking a FullTime candidate with the availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. Starting wage for this position is $14 per hour plus tips averaging $18 per hour.
Some of the main duties youre responsible for:
- Providea great customer experience to exceed Starbucks Standards
- Provide friendly and attentive service to customers taking orders and answering questions with enthusiasm
- Operate espresso machines blenders and other equipment skillfully ensuring precise measurements and optimal taste
- Prepare and serve coffees espresso drinks teas and other specialty drinks
- Prepare and serve hot breakfast items including baked goods
- Stock supplies including merchandise and keep the store clean and presentable
- Adhere to health and safety regulations maintaining cleanliness and proper food handling practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations assisting with tasks as needed.
- Stay uptodate with Starbucks product knowledge promotions and new offerings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential. We are willing to train individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- A positive and friendly attitude
