Job Description
Material Transport headquartered in Sacramento CA transports and stores building materials for the Pacific Coast Building Products Inc.s Family of Companies and for other businesses requiring excellent service and reliability in the transportation and storage of goods.
- Maneuvering forklifts safely in a busy environment.
- Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods.
- Unload building materials from railcars to storage areas and/or load onto trucks for transport.
- Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstruction.
- Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages.
- Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.
- Ability to work outside during different weather conditions.
