Job Description
Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Alexandria VA (Hybrid: 3 Days Remote 2 Days OnSite)
Salary Range: $100000 $119000 per year
We are Luxus Group. A National recruiting and staffing organization who has been retained by PBS to help them hire a full time Technical Business Analyst. This opportunity will have a full time contract employed by Luxus for 6 months which will include salary health benefits etc. After the completion of your 6 month contract you will transition to a full time employee with PBS.

Position Summary:
PBS is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Alexandria VA. This role will be responsible for analyzing documenting and improving business and technology processes. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technology team ensuring that system requirements align with business needs. This position offers a hybrid work environment allowing for three remote workdays per week and two onsite days at our Alexandria VA office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather analyze and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for developers and IT teams.
- Collaborate with product owners developers and quality assurance teams to ensure project deliverables meet business objectives.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements to optimize business and technical workflows.
- Support the design testing and implementation of new systems software applications and enhancements.
- Assist in developing user stories process flows and system diagrams.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Work with data teams to ensure data integrity reporting and analytics meet business needs.
- Provide support for troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolutions with IT teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices relevant to PBSs digital and broadcast operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile frameworks.
- Experience working with enterprise software solutions APIs and data integration projects.
- Ability to create detailed documentation including business requirements technical specifications and workflow diagrams.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio and SQL.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience in the media broadcasting or nonprofit sector is a plus.

- Competitive salary range of $100000 $119000 per year.
