Join The French American Academy as a FullTime English Teacher
The French American Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated fulltime English Teachers for our PreK Kindergarten and Elementary programs in a bilingual French/English setting. We are looking for educators who thrive in a dynamic multicultural environment and are committed to fostering a love of learning in young students.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have a strong interest in working within a bilingual French/English environment
- Possess at least 2 years of experience teaching preschool Kindergarten and/or elementary grades
- Hold a bachelors degree or higher in education
- Have a solid background in English/ELA and Math instruction
- Demonstrate excellent writing and speaking skills in English
- Use a studentcentered approach to teaching and learning
- Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students
- Create a nurturing safe and inclusive classroom community
- Be innovative techsavvy and excited about integrating technology in the classroom
- Enjoy collaborating on curriculum design and projectbased learning initiatives
- Exhibit adaptability flexibility and creativity in teaching
- Be open to teaching across multiple grade levels
- Show a strong commitment to diversity equity and inclusion
- Proficiency in French is a plus
