What We Offer

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual meritincrease program and we are targeting a salary range of $based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 57 of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our companys 401(k) plan which includes a paid company match on a per pay period basis. In addition the company makes a retirement savings contribution of 5 of eligible earnings into the 401(k) Plan.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition after being employed for six months eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year providing a total of 88 holiday hours.

As an industry leading manufacturer of engineered wood products the Weyerhaeuser Product Engineering Codes and Standards team plays a critical role in ensuring code compliance and supporting the specification and application of Weyerhaeuser engineered wood products. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of a diverse team of engineers primarily dividing their time on product engineering issues that include resolving technical field questions preparing code evaluation submittal documents supporting industry activities and developing product specification literature and structural design software. Other engineering responsibilities will include supporting laboratory experiments and product manufacturing activities.

The successful candidate is one who displays a cando attitude in a dynamic work environment is a creative selfstarter that enjoys learning and problem solving prides themselves on accuracy of work and strives to create an injuryfree high productivity environment. A team player with strong interpersonal skills is essential. This position is located in Federal Way WA and may require some limited travel as dictated by assignments.
