QualificationsHas a high school diploma or its equivalent.Has playing experience in sport.Demonstrated coaching experience and knowledge of MIAA standards and guidelines.Has excellent communication skills.Has the ability to develop professional working relationships with staff parents students and community members.Has the ability to work as a team with other coaching staff and school administrators.Has ability to coach independently and in collaboration with other coaches.Has experience working with high school students.Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to the following:Reliable regular and punctual onsite attendance is required to perform the essential functions duties and responsibilities of a coach.Take all necessary precautions to provide for the health and safety of athletes and to protect equipment materials and facilities including taking inventories. Support the head coachs decisions and help develop and implement engaging and effective practice and game plans. Help establish and communicate clear objectives for all athletes.
