An exciting opportunity exists for Clinical Nurse Specialists to join our vibrant and supportive team environment at Darwin Private Hospital on our Rehab and Medical/Surgical Wards.
As the Clinical Nurse Specialist your responsibilities will include:
Deliver qualitynursing care by Assessing Planning Implementing and evaluating individual patient care
Provide a standard of care according to the individuals level of experience and education maintaining high quality nursing care within a safe environment
Develop and utilise strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication
Work in partnership with patients and families in decisionmaking regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationships
Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals it is a licenced 122 bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including General Surgery Orthopaedics Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ophthalmology Plastic and Reconstructive Urology Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. Our worldclass private hospital attracts patients from across the greater Northern Territory Western Australia remote aboriginal communities and even offshore. We are colocated with Royal Darwin Hospital and partner in delivering specialised care to patients from across the top end of Australia.

Selection Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care
Demonstrated ability to lead supervise manage and support a team
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Post Graduate Certificate or working towards
If you are successful in the role you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and the Darwin Private Hospital Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement$52.09 per hour) plus Super
