About the team
As a Renewal Account Manager you will work closely with the sales and customer success teams to ensure a seamless renewal process. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers internal teams channel partners and external stakeholders to ensure seamless contract renewals identify upsell opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.
About the Role
This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of customer needs. You will be expected to analyze customer data forecast renewal rates and develop strategies to address potential churn. This role is crucial for driving customer retention and maximizing recurring revenue.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Renewal Management:
Own and manage the renewal lifecycle of assigned accounts ensuring timely contract and revenue retention
Proactively engage with customers and channel partners to confirm renewal intentions and address any potential obstacles
Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding renewals upgrades and transactional spendrelated inquiries
Conduct and drive quote reviews and/or contract reviews with key stakeholders to understand their needs budget cycles and renewal processes
Revenue Growth:
In conjunction with the sales team identify opportunities for upsell and crosssell within existing accounts to increase customer value
Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure seamless account transitions and a unified customer experience
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Forecast consistently and with high degree of accuracy
Analyze renewal data and transactional spend patterns to forecast renewal outcomes and identify trends
Maintain accurate and uptodate account records in the CRM system providing regular reports on renewal performance.
Problem Solving:
Address and triage any customer concerns or challenges during the renewal process
Work closely with product finance and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and renewal success
Help develop playbooks and strategies and cross train junior team members
The skills youll bring include:
2 4 years of experience in SaaS renewals with a proven track record of exceeding renewal targetS.
Fluency in German and English
Cyber Security industry experience is a plus
Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce Netsuite)
Demonstrated selfstarter curious and solution focused
Strong initiative positive attitude and both the ability and willingness to learn technical concepts
Customerfocused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Detailoriented and highly organized with a focus on accuracy and followthrough
Collaborative team player with the ability to work crossfunctionally
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
