The Sustainability Program Office (SPO) is dedicated to advancing SHCs sustainability initiatives advocating for practices that minimize our environmental impact and promote the health and wellbeing of our communities while striving to create a more sustainable future for all we serve. The Energy Manager is responsible for coordinating championing monitoring overseeing planning and reporting on all aspects of the SHC Energy Management Plan and sustainability goals. This role is responsible for directly managing energy efficiency projects rebates applications and management building optimization efforts and supervision of carbon and energy data metrics and reporting. This is an anchoring for SPO reporting directly to the Executive Director of Sustainability Programs. A Brief Overview
This enterprisewide position within the Sustainability Program Office (SPO) is responsible for contributing to and executing on the multiyear energy emissions and water strategy. The Energy Manager partners with Facilities Systems Engineering in the overall direction coordination implementation control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy commitments and goals while prioritizing energy conservation and reduction of combustion sources. Performs energy and water efficiency studies using best practice techniques. Reports on findings and provides recommendations through crossfunctional advocacy. Collaborates with Energy and Systems Engineers in the development of energy policies and plans; seeks and executes on energy savings initiatives/projects; maintains working relationship with utility companies for rate restructuring as appropriate; participates in the review of new construction and renovation projects focusing on efficiency and building resiliency. Leads employee engagement campaigns with an energy conservation objective.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $76.90 $101.91 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
