We are looking for a Remote IT Helpdesk Support technician to join our team. This role involves providing remote technical assistance troubleshooting IT issues and supporting users with software hardware and networkrelated problems from the comfort of your home.
Provide remote support for hardware software and network issues
Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues via phone email or remote desktop tools
Install configure and maintain software and hardware remotely
Assist with software upgrades and system maintenance tasks
Provide user training and guidance on IT systems and tools
Maintain documentation of support requests resolutions and system configurations
Ensure security protocols and best practices are followed
Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
A relevant qualification from a South African TVET college or university in IT or a related field
Proven experience in IT helpdesk or technical support roles (preferably remote)
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
Familiarity with common business software (e.g. Microsoft 365 Google Workspace) and remote desktop tools
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize effectively
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Selfmotivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
