Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist

BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS INC.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Director of Human Resources and will work with all levels of staff to ensure the agency maintains a highperformance workforce. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for strategically sourcing attracting interviewing and hiring employees to meet an organizations longterm goals ensuring a positive candidate experience and contributing to a strong talent pipeline.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  • Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels (e.g. job boards social media networking).
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Review resumes conduct interviews and evaluate candidates against job requirements.
  • Oversee the entire hiring process from job posting to onboarding.
  • Foster strong relationships with hiring managers candidates and other stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Track key metrics related to recruitment efforts and providing insights to improve processes.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of the recruitment budget.
  • In concert with hiring managers create job descriptions that reflect the requirements of each position.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Build and develop a pipeline of the most qualified candidates by assessing their CVs portfolios and references and attending job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Maintain clear records of all recruitment documentation including interview notes and related paperwork in ADP to share with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and other human resource staff during the offer process identifying and recommending salary ranges incentives start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Provide ad hoc reports of all requisition status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience in fullcycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency with social media CV databases and professional networks.
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of laws regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Working knowledge of ADP WorkForce Now.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
  • Five years of experience in a talent acquisition or recruitment specialist role
  • SHRMCP or SHRMSCP preferred.
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The salary for this position is $75000$80000
