Job Description
A Postdoctoral Researcher position is immediately available in the Dave Moz Lab (Chemistry Department and BioInspired Institute at Syracuse University) to develop natureinspired strategies for controlling the structure and mechanics of biopolymer condensates. This NIH funded project aims to use posttranslational modifications to alter the interfacial and rheological properties of all aqueous emulsions derived from the liquidliquid phase separation of proteins. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the experimental characterization of soft condensed matter as demonstrated by publications in the field.

Responsibilities
Pioneer research areas by intellectually engaging the group Run experiments Write proposals Publish research results in peerreviewed journals Train undergraduate and graduate students and coordinate purchasing

Qualifications
A doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering Chemistry Materials Science Polymer Materials Science Polymer Engineering or closely related field is required. Prior publication record in the characterization of structure and dynamics of soft condensed matter using rheological scattering and other techniques.
