At Bow & Bend we provide warm and attentive service in a visually stunning environment with an artfully crafted menu embracing ecoconscious practices through conscious choices and initiatives.

ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are in search of a dynamic leader for the position of Front of House Manager responsible for maintaining the vision culture and success of Bow & Bend. The ideal candidate will consistently provide a seamless dining experience for all customers by overseeing daily operations managing the team and ensuring the highest level of service excellence and hospitality.

Primary accountabilities include:

  • Consistently providing the highest quality of service to our customers and staff alike setting a shining example for our team.
  • Supervising front of house staff including servers hosts and bartenders to ensure efficient service.
  • Training and mentoring team members in customer service best practices and food safety standards.
  • Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize customer flow and satisfaction.
  • Addressing customer inquiries concerns and feedback promptly to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborating with culinary team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area bar and waiting areas.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of supplies and communicating needs to Restaurant General Manager.
  • Assisting in the planning and of special events or promotions to attract new customers.
  • Ensuring the highest level of staff satisfaction through selecting training scheduling coaching counseling developing recognizing and rewarding our staff.
  • Maintaining a safe secure and healthy work environment by establishing following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures complying with health and legal regulations.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the industry reviewing professional publications and benchmarking best practices.

ABOUT YOU

  • A seasoned professional with a minimum of three years experience leading a team in an upscale Restaurant operation in a downtown city center.
  • Someone with an outstanding work ethic along with a track record of reliability punctuality and an approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Someone who has solid leadership skills adept at training coaching and motivating a team of high performers.
  • An exceptional problemsolver knowing how to troubleshoot resolve situations efficiently with the ability to shift priorities as needed including handling customer or staff situations.
  • Able to work well under pressure and enjoy a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communicator who values teamwork and collaboration.
  • Someone with extensive knowledge in wine beverages and bartending practices.
  • Physically able to stand sit walk push pull crouch and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds or more.
