Overview

Opportunity: Director of Human Resources

Oversee and elevate all human resource functions at The Rittenhouse Hotel Philadelphias premier luxury destination. Lead talent acquisition training and development benefits administration and employee relations with a commitment to excellence and discretion. As a key member of the hotels executive committee collaborate closely with the General Manager and department leaders to cultivate a culture of sophistication service and unparalleled hospitality. This role is integral to shaping the associate experience and maintaining the legendary reputation of The Rittenhouse Hotel.

Essential Job Functions

  • Strategic Leadership Oversee all facets of human resources including talent acquisition training scheduling performance management and associate engagement ensuring alignment with Forbes and brand standards while upholding HHM core values.

  • Talent Acquisition & Development Lead a proactive recruitment strategy guiding hiring managers in selecting the most qualified candidates. Oversee the fullcycle recruitment process onboarding and career development programs to attract and retain toptier hospitality professionals.

  • Employee Experience & Culture Foster a positive servicedriven culture through impactful employee relations programs engagement initiatives and leadership coaching ensuring an inclusive and inspiring workplace.

  • Compliance & Integrity Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local state and federal regulations. Conduct and oversee internal investigations related to workplace concerns with discretion and professionalism.

  • Training & Performance Excellence Design and implement development programs that reinforce Forbes standards elevating service excellence and operational performance.

  • Collaboration & Partner with HHMs centralized People Support teams to administer benefits compensation and compliance programs effectively. Provide guidance on payroll administration and associate support functions as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • 10 years previous Human Resources experience preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Human Resource certification and/or involvement in local hotel HR community preferred.
  • An understanding of Forbes Travel Guide standards is preferred.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods walking pushing lifting up to 15 pounds bending and reaching stooping kneeling or crouching.
