Investment Analyst Private Equity Infrastructure/Energy Transition

Maternity cover 6months FTC

Who were looking for

We are looking for someone who will be acting as an Investment Analyst/Associate for a 6month fixedterm contract in the Private Equity infrastructure sector in Paris.

As part of Schroders Capital Infrastructure (legally known as Schroders Capital Management France SAS) you will play a key role in executing and managing PE infrastructure investments.

You will have the opportunity to work on infrastructure transactions across several sectors with a more specific focus on energy transition.

The Team

Our Private Equity infrastructure sector in Paris is focused on impactful investments and is expanding its collaboration with Schroders Capital Greencoat an equity infrastructure investment team based in London and Dublin. Our team specialises in investing in renewable energy and energy transition assets across the UK and Europe.

What youll do

  • Review investment opportunities
  • Assist in deals (manage Due Diligence draft Investment memos run Excel models..
  • Run complex financial models and simulate the impact of alternative assumptions
  • Work with company management to deliver key strategic initiatives (such as financingrefinancing new development projects addon acquisitions etc)
  • Identify and mitigate key asset risks alongside company management teams
  • Implement and monitor reporting by investee companies and identify material deviations and actions required;
  • Prepare and present quarterlyreporting and valuation on portfolio companies to the Schroders Capital Investment Committee and to client investors
  • Assist Managing Directors and distribution teams in preparing and presenting marketing materials.

The knowledge experience and qualifications you need

  • Relevant experience within Infrastructure PE Private Equity Project Finance M&A.
  • Preferably a M&A advisor with strong modelling skills and infrastructure deal experience who is keen to move into a portfolio role;

What youll be like

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Capacity to develop and run Excel model ideally with expertise on Infrastructure
  • Selfmotivated individual focused on growing the business.
  • Team working spirit willing to learn and to develop in a team with a flat structure

The knowledge experience and qualifications that will help

  • Fluency in French is a strong plus
