Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Surrey
Starting Rate: $38.38/Hour

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE:
Under the supervision of the Plant Manager and taking daily direction from the maintenance lead this position is responsible for installing maintaining and repairing machinery in both the Block and Dry Mix production facilities. This position is responsible for supporting and demonstrating theCore Values of Integrity Safety Respect Customer Focus Quality Innovation and Financial Success.Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
- Must be a Red Seal certified Millwright. Will also consider Red Seal certified Metal Fabricator CWB certified Welder.
- Relevant experience in machinery maintenance and welding in a comparable industrial setting is required.
- Must have strong communication interpersonal teamwork and decisionmaking skills.
- Candidate is required to have a high level of mathematical and problemsolving skill.
- Ability to use and operate a personal computer. Working knowledge of industrial electricity is an asset.
- Ability to operate a forklift shop tools hand tools multi meter and any other equipment required to perform duties.
- Must be able to demonstrate commitment to safety and ability to work safely under all conditions.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
