We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Councils Communications Team as a Marketing and Campaigns Officer.
The role:
Reporting to the Strategic Communications & Marketing Manager you will be responsible for planning and implementing the Councils annual marketing and campaign plans. Leading the delivery and management of an effective and innovative marketing and campaigns service you will be required to produce strong high quality marketing content using a range of communications tools and channels.
You will have responsibility for delivering a range of impactful campaigns which inform and engage with a wide range of audiences to ensure maximum awareness takeup and impact of the councils activities and strategic ambitions.
What you will need:
You will have significant experience in marketing campaigns and/or public relations along with experience of planning and delivering a range of effective campaigns for different audiences using a variety of channels including digital/social media.
We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to distil translate and communicate complex information clearly and accurately. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
